If you have had a good hard weekend of drinking a little of the hard stuff maybe you might want to think about drinking some tea!
On top of eating bananas and drinking plenty of water or Gatorade, drinking certain teas can help your liver function thus helping to process the alcohol better and reduce the length of hang over time!!
At Teavana you can get a wide variety of teas to help you with all different organs and bodily functions. I am just going to give you a few different ones that are for liver.
Mate'Vana: A deliciously smooth herbal tea that is perfect for coffee lovers. It does contain caffeine, but many people have a different reaction to this stimulant since it is blended with the other natural xanthines found in Mate (theophylline and theobromine). Together they create energy without jitteriness or addictive tendencies. This tea is also a wonderful diet tea, since it curbs hunger. MateVana does contain nuts.
Mate teas are a cardiovascular aid, hunger suppressant, and mental and physical stimulant. Also includes some Rooibos tea, which is high in vitamins and minerals and contains antioxidants.

It also gently stimulates the heart and circulatory system, keeping blood vessels soft. This helps to avoid heart disease and strokes. Finally, studies show that black tea helps to regulate your blood sugar and lower blood pressure. It contains 20% of the caffeine in a cup of coffee.
English Breakfast Tea:A flavorful and popular blend of full-leaf, high-grown Assam, Nilgiri, and Ceylon black teas. English breakfast blend is a perpetual morning-time companion to tea lovers everywhere. And the gentle caffeine content will help wake you up without making you as jittery as coffee. Sencha green Tea: Sencha literally means 'steamed tea'. With a fresh vegetal taste, this favorite has a quality and flavor beyond the ordinary. Sencha is the everyday tea of Japan and is delicious anytime. The sweet green leaves are cylindrically shaped and dried following traditional Japanese techniques. A perfect choice for green tea lovers! This tea is an excellent source of antioxidants, particularly EGCG. Studies show that green tea may help boost your immune system, inhibit the growth of certain cancers, soothe the stomach and digestive system, regulate your blood sugar and lower your cholesterol. This tea contains 5-10% of the caffeine in a cup of coffee.
Just a few teas to help fight the hang over blues. These are, as everything else, not fool proof ways to prevent or rid your self of a hang over. The only way to prevent is to not drink at all. You want to remember to keep hydrated. If you are going to go out drinking I must ask you to drink wisely and don't drive if you have been drinking. No matter how much or how little. Please drink responsibly.
